All people say work experiences abroad are useful, enriching, favour employability, develop one’s skills, etc. But what are such statements based upon? How can we measure the "return on investment" (ROI) that many stakeholders (students, companies, schools, the EU) make, in terms of time, money, commitment, networking, availability to and put oneself on the test abroad, and so on? The ROI-MOB project aims at putting some order in the above matters, by identifying and testing some indicators, suitable to measure the return on investment in EU VET mobility, in order to:

The Conference will be held at Palazzo Bo (Via 8 Febbraio, 2 - 35122 Padua), the prestigious seat of the University of Padua, the second oldest university in Italy, being founded in 1222. Many important scholars attended it: Galileo Galilei, Copernicus, Pope Sixtus IV, Ippolito Nievo, Giovanni Battista Morgagni (founder of anatomical pathology) and William Harvey (who discovered the flow of blood during his studies in Padua).

The closest airports are:
Transfers from and to the airports can be arranged by bus, train or taxi shuttle service.
Bus: a bus service form the airport (both Venice and Treviso) to the railway station of Padua is available in front of the airport. Tickets are available in the airport.
Taxi shuttle service: from the airports to everywhere in Padua. The service is provided by Air Service Padova or by Landomas Service. You have to book the service.
Standard taxi service is available outside the airports.
Train from Venice-Marco Polo airport to Padua: reach the Mestre-Venice railway station by bus ATVO Fly Bus or ACTV bus; see the available options in the airport website. Reaching the Railway station, both Venezia-Mestre or Venezia Santa Lucia, take a train to Padova (Trenitalia). The trip is around 30 + 20 minutes.
Given that the second part of June is high touristic season, we recommend to proceed with hotel reservation as soon as possible.
