What is ROI-MOB

All people say work experiences abroad are useful, enriching, favour employability, develop one’s skills, etc. But what are such statements based upon? How can we measure the "return on investment" (ROI) that many stakeholders (students, companies, schools, the EU) make, in terms of time, money, commitment, networking, availability to and put oneself on the test abroad, and so on? The ROI-MOB project aims at putting some order in the above matters, by identifying and testing some indicators, suitable to measure the return on investment in EU VET mobility, in order to:

  1. increasing quality in learning mobility;
  2. attracting more participants to EU mobilities;
  3. pushing more companies, schools and training centres to send on students or apprentices in mobility abroad;
  4. attracting more companies available to host EU mobilities;
  5. supporting policies for mobility both at institutional and at provider/intermediary organisation level
